GE 1.5T VOYAGER MRI unit. Designed with patient comfort in mind, this
wide bore scanner offers more space and accommodates a broader range of
patients, including those who may feel anxious or uncomfortable in traditional
MRI machines. This advanced technology delivers consistent, high-resolution
images, and the accredited MRI technologists work closely with radiologists
to tailor protocols, ensuring optimal image quality for every patient.
Images are interpreted by a specially trained radiologist, and results
are sent to your provider per your request. These results play a critical
role in diagnosing your medical condition and planning a course of treatment.

What to expect
Once scheduled, on the appointment day, patients will conveniently enter
through the Outpatient Services area, ensuring easy access and a streamlined
experience. The new MRI services are delivered in a comfortable and compassionate
environment by the experienced and dedicated staff. The addition of MRI
technology enables patients to receive detailed imaging that supports
accurate diagnosis and effective treatment planning, all while staying
close to home.
What MRI scans are available?
A full range of MRI services, except for cardiac MRIs, are available. Testing
options both with and without contrast will be offered based on what the
provider has ordered.

This latest equipment adds to the already expansive list of quality equipment
available in the McKenzie Diagnostic Imaging Department, including echocardiography/vascular
