At McKenzie Health System, we respect your time and understand that getting a test completed is not how you want to spend your day, so we make it our goal to serve you as quickly as possible.

Before Your Test

If a referral or preauthorization is required, the staff at McKenzie Health System will assist you in obtaining the proper referral. It is important to us that you feel as prepared, relaxed, and as comfortable for your test as possible. Some tests require preparation. If this is necessary, your provider will provide you with pre-test instructions.

Test Results

Once your test results are available, our team will send a report to your provider, who will share the results with you. Please allow your provider adequate time to record the findings in your patient file before calling their office.

ProFound AI (Artificial Intelligence) Technology

McKenzie is one of the first imaging centers in Michigan to offer this leading-edge AI technology. While AI isn’t meant to replace doctors, new research suggests it’s a reliable tool that reduces the rate of false positives and unnecessary recalls for patients. It also helps doctors more accurately find breast cancer sooner when it is easier to treat. It also reduces reading time for radiologists by more than half, allowing them to spend more time with patients. Positive clinical results from a large reader study involving ProFound AI for DBT were recently published in Radiology: Artificial Intelligence.
