Start Your New Year Right by Attending the January 17, 2018 Lunch and Learn!

McKenzie Health System is pleased to welcome Gina Patterson, R.Ph. BS, Director of Pharmacies, to kick off the 2018 Lunch and Learn Workshop Series with her presentation, “Understanding Your Medications”, at the January 2018 Lunch and Learn Workshop, scheduled for Wednesday, January 17, from noon to 1 p.m., in the McKenzie Health System Dining Room. Lunch and Learn is a community education series held every third Wednesday of the month. The cost for the workshop is $5, and lunch is included in the price. “Having a basic understanding of your medications and how they work in your body is crucial to taking good care of your health,” states Louise Blasius, LMSW, LPC, Director of Human Services at McKenzie Health System. “It’s also important to know how some medications interact with each other since many of us take more than one medication at a time to address different health concerns. Come to the January 17th Lunch and Learn Workshop to learn about how you can take medications safely, and how pharmacists can help you do just that!”

As always, this Lunch and Learn Workshop will provide valuable information in a relaxed, personal atmosphere and questions will be welcomed. In addition, attendees will be able to enjoy a delicious, healthy meal. “Because our dining room has limited seating, pre-registrations are required,” informs Blasius. “We encourage people to reserve their space as soon as possible.
