Sanilac County, Mich. – McKenzie Health System and Sanilac Medical Care Facility invite the community to make a meaningful impact by donating blood at the upcoming American Red Cross Blood Drive, taking place on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. The drive will be held at Sanilac Medical Care Facility, located at 137 N. Elk Street in Sandusky.
As summer approaches, maintaining a strong blood supply becomes increasingly important. Seasonal travel, busy schedules, and other factors can lead to a decline in donations, making community participation essential to meeting ongoing patient needs.
“Our community continues to show up in meaningful ways, and blood donation is one of those simple acts that truly saves lives,” said Nina Barnett, Public Relations and Foundation Coordinator at McKenzie Health System. “As we head into the summer months, we encourage anyone who is able to take a little time to donate—it’s a small commitment that can make a lasting difference for someone in need.”
Appointments are required to ensure a smooth donation experience. To schedule your time to donate, please call 810-648-6127 or visit the Red Cross website and search by zip code 48471 or sponsor code: McKenzieHealth.
Every donation helps. Every drop counts. Join us in giving hope to those who need it most.
