McKenzie Health System will continue its 2026 Healthy Living Together series with a hands-on and engaging session focused on traditional bread making. The March event, titled “Bread Making – Sourdough,” will be presented by community member Mary Gilbert.
The session will take place on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. Participants will learn the basics of sourdough bread making, including how to care for a starter, simple ingredient preparation, and tips for baking at home. Whether attendees are beginners or have some experience, this session will offer practical insight and inspiration for creating homemade sourdough bread.
Space for in-person attendees may be limited, as each participant will receive a sourdough starter to take home.
