McKenzie Health System is making it easier for community members to see what programs are available and sign up at a time that works for them, thanks to support from the Sanilac County Community Foundation.

Through a $2,151.50 grant received in June 2025, McKenzie Health System implemented WellnessLiving, an online system that allows individuals to view classes and register on their own.

Community members can now browse options like aqua aerobics, senior exercise, and Matter of Balance, and sign up in just a few steps. This added convenience helps more people take part and supports continued growth of these programs in the future. Additional programs will be added in the future.

“We wanted to make it simpler for people to get involved,” said Nina Barnett, Public Relations and Foundation Coordinator at McKenzie. “This gives individuals the ability to look at what’s available and sign up whenever it’s convenient for them.”

McKenzie Health System continues to offer support for anyone who prefers not to use the online system. Staff are available to assist with registration, and phone and in-person options remain available to ensure everyone can participate.

“We’re grateful to the Sanilac County Community Foundation for helping us take this step forward for our community,” added Barnett. For more information or to register for upcoming programs, visit www.McKenzieHealth.org/Fitness or call 810-648-6127.
