Estate Planning Basics Workshop Coming to McKenzie Health System October 8

McKenzie Health System is pleased to host a free community workshop, Estate Planning Basics and the Benefits of Proper Planning, on Tuesday, October 8, at 12:00 p.m. in the back cafeteria of the main hospital building. Attorney Michael Rolando of Biddinger, Schrot & Rolando, PC will lead the session.

With more than a decade of legal experience, Rolando will discuss how families can protect themselves and their loved ones through proper estate planning. Topics will include the essential legal documents everyone should have, how to prepare for long-term care costs, and strategies to avoid common and costly mistakes.

“This workshop is designed to give community members the tools and knowledge they need to plan for the future with confidence,” said Rolando. “Estate planning is not just about documents—it’s about making sure your wishes are honored and your family is protected.”

The 30–40-minute presentation will be followed by a Q&A session. Attendees will also receive a complimentary lunch, courtesy of Biddinger, Schrot & Rolando, PC, and a free consultation following the workshop.
