McKenzie Health System proudly announces the addition of Dr. Zarrish Khan, MD, to their team of healthcare professionals. Dr. Khan, a distinguished surgeon known for her commitment to enhancing healthcare delivery and patient outcomes, will join McKenzie General Surgery on May 7, 2024.
With an impressive academic background and extensive clinical experience, Dr. Khan will be a wonderful addition to the surgical team. After earning her medical degree from Aga Khan University Medical College in 2005, Dr. Khan pursued rigorous training in Surgery at UT Southwestern Medical Center and completed her residency in 2012. She furthered her specialization with a Fellowship in Cardiothoracic Surgery at Weill Medical College of Cornell University in 2014. Dr. Khan's relentless pursuit of excellence led her to achieve board certifications in Thoracic & Cardiac Surgery, a testament to her proficiency and unwavering dedication to the highest standards of patient care.
Dr. Khan also serves as a Clinic Instructor at the University of Michigan Health, where she passionately shares her knowledge and expertise with the next generation of medical professionals. Her commitment to education underscores her dedication to advancing healthcare delivery.
Clinical appointments with Dr. Khan will take place at McKenzie General Surgery, located at 100 W. Argyle Street, Suite 3, in Sandusky, with surgeries being performed at McKenzie Health System - Hospital Campus, ensuring convenient and comprehensive care for patients throughout the county.
Beyond her professional endeavors, Dr. Khan cherishes her role as a devoted mother to two children. Her family values and compassionate nature underscore her commitment to caring for others, both in her professional practice and personal life.
