McKenzie Health System “Healthy Living…Together” to In-Person Event on Puppy 101 and How to Make Dog Treats

McKenzie Health System’s next “Healthy Living…Together” is an in-person, one-of-a-kind event for local dog lovers. The “Puppy 101 and How to Make Dog Treats” event will feature Carolyn Crowe, Great Lakes K9 Obedience Instructor, Leader Dog for the Blind Puppy Raising Program Counselor and AKC Canine Good Citizen; along with Kristina Myers, Registered Dietitian for McKenzie Health System on June 21 from noon to 1 p.m. at Diamond Trail in Sandusky. 

To register for this in-person session, call 810-648-6117 or email nbarnett@mckenziehealth.org. Registrants will be notified if there is inclement weather and alternative plans need to be arranged. The special event will offer tips on training and caring for puppies as well as fun and healthy recipes for dog treats. Unlike other sessions, this in-person event will not take place on Zoom. 

“This is the perfect time of year to get outside with your faithful furry companions and enjoy fresh air, movement, fun and some great tips on caring for and feeding your puppies,” said Nina Barnett, Public Relations and Foundation Coordinator at McKenzie Health System and Healthy Living Together Chair. “This is sure to be our liveliest Healthy Living event yet!”
