McKenzie Health System’s “Healthy Living…Together” to Share “Parenting 101” Tips on September 21

With tips and helpful advice for parents and expecting parents, McKenzie Health System’s next virtual “Healthy Living…Together” seminar on September 21 will focus on “Parenting 101” with host Karolyn McEntee, Director of Great Start Collaborative - Sanilac. Contributing panelists are Nicole Brabant, Sanilac County Early Head Start Supervisor; Samantha Foster, Early On Coordinator; Cori Stevens, Sanilac Parents as Teachers Family Success Specialist; and Pediatrician Matthew Gormley, MD, Croswell Clinic.

The live webinar is free, and participants will have the opportunity to watch via Zoom or call in via phone; it will also be recorded and shared via McKenzie Health System’s YouTube channel and Facebook page. Speakers will be on video so participants can see and hear them; participants will be able to type interactive questions and comments for the Q&A discussion.

“Being a parent is one of the most important jobs we can ever have and sometimes it is also one of the hardest, which is why we wanted to offer support and tips for parents and expecting parents of all ages,” said Louise Blasius, LMSW, LPC, Director of Human Services at McKenzie Health System and Healthy Living Together Chair. “As they say, ‘it takes a village’ and we are thrilled to welcome our local village of experts for this special seminar.”
