Here's an easy way to make a festive splash in no time. A simple dip that you can whip up in minutes is paired with creatively placed veggies that make a snowy Christmas scene.

  • 12 oz 1/3-less-fat cream cheese, softened

  • 1/2 cup nonfat buttermilk

  • 3 tsp chopped fresh dill

  • 3 small garlic cloves, minced

  • 3/4 tsp onion powder

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

  • 2 heads broccoli florets

  • 1 pint cherry tomatoes

  • 1/4 yellow bell pepper, sliced thin or

  • 1/2 oz pretzel sticks

  • 1 bunch cauliflower, cut into florets

  • In a bowl, combine cream cheese, buttermilk, dill, garlic, onion powder, salt and black pepper. Cover with plastic wrap and keep chilled while assembling the “Christmas tree.”

  • On a flat platter, arrange the broccoli florets in a tree pattern with the cherry tomatoes in 2 layers as “ornaments.” Arrange the bell pepper strips in the shape of a star at the top of the “tree.”
  • Arrange the pretzel sticks as the tree “trunk.” Arrange the cauliflower florets as the “snow” at the bottom of the tree.
  • Serve the dip with the vegetables.
