“Go Red Ladies Night” Virtual Event Scheduled for February 25

Penny Tubbs, McKenzie Foundation Community Relations Committee ChairCelebrating the amazing women in our local community and focusing on their health and wellness, the McKenzie Health System Foundation is hosting their annual “Go Red Ladies Night” virtually this year on Thursday, February 25 at 7:00 p.m. The free event is designed to give women an opportunity to learn more about topics that directly affect their health and will feature a question-and-answer session where attendees can ask health-related questions from the comfort of home. All attendees will receive a thank-you gift as well as the chance to win one of many gift certificates from local restaurants. Drawings will take place throughout the event and gift certificates will be mailed to the winners.

Speakers include McKenzie Nurse Practitioner Brandy Trepkowski, McKenzie Nurse Practitioner Nicole DeMarco, and Erica Krawczyk, Community Nutrition Instructor with MSU Extension. In addition to learning more about the topics of heart health, knowing your numbers, and nutrition, attendees will also have a chance to ask questions during the event.

“We are thrilled to have speakers who are known for their expertise in the full spectrum of women’s health topics and will deliver the information with plenty of humor,” said Penny Tubbs, McKenzie Foundation Community Relations Chair. “Women don’t always take the time to focus on themselves and their health, and we love creating a comfortable, educational and fun forum to do just that!”

The event is sponsored by the McKenzie Foundation Community Relations Committee and members will share in the hosting and add their own personal dose of fun to the special event.
