Prescription Deductibles, Co-Pays, and Cash

McKenzie Health System is pleased to welcome Gina Patterson, RPh, Sanilac Pharmacy, to present “Prescription Deductibles, Co-Pays and Cash” at the March Lunch and Learn workshop, scheduled for Wednesday, March 18, from Noon to 1 p.m., in the McKenzie Health System Dining Room. Lunch and Learn is a community education series  held every third Wednesday of the month.  The cost for the workshops is $5, and lunch is included in the price.  Pre-registration is required by calling Nina Barnett at 810-648-6127.

“Paying for prescriptions can be confusing these days due to a wide variety of insurance plans and coverage options”, shares Louise Blasius, McKenzie Health System Social Worker.  “At the March 18 Lunch and Learn workshop, Ms. Patterson will help audience members become more savvy consumers by taking the mystery out of the difference between prescription deductibles and co-pays, and also talk about paying cash for prescriptions.”

“This workshop will provide valuable information in a relaxed, interactive atmosphere, where questions are always welcome,” reports Blasius.  “In addition, our audience members are invited to enjoy a delicious meal.  What a great way to spend a lunch time!”
