Back by popular demand, the McKenzie Foundation Community Relations Committee is bringing back “What Your Mama Never Told You” for another evening of candid conversation, useful information and plenty of laughs. The committee is inviting men and women to enjoy the event, scheduled for Thursday, September 24, at 6 p.m. at Liberty Lanes, 100 Kristian St., Sandusky. Doors open at 5:30 p.m.

This year will feature a new lineup of topics relevant to men and women while keeping the relaxed, interactive format that has made “What Your Mama Never Told You” a community favorite.

No topic has to feel too awkward and no question too uncomfortable. Guests will have the opportunity to ask the things they may have wondered about but never quite knew who—or how—to ask. The relaxed format often leads to plenty of laughs along the way, making it easier to talk openly about topics that might otherwise feel a little awkward.

Nurse Practitioner Brandy Trepkowski and Dr. James Sams will lead the evening, sharing professional insight, answering questions and offering helpful information on topics that many people may be curious about but don’t always want to ask about.

Guests are encouraged to grab a friend and make a night of it. Appetizers will be served, a cash bar will be available, and the evening will include giveaways and door prize drawings.

Attendance is limited to 85 participants, and advance registration is required. The deadline to register is Monday, September 21. To reserve your spot, visit www.McKenzieHealth.org/Mama or call the Foundation office at 810-648-6127.

Come with your questions, come ready to learn something new and, if past events are any indication, come prepared to laugh. “What Your Mama Never Told You” is designed to make important conversations a little easier—and a lot more fun.
