Trisha Ameel, FNP-C, Transitions to McKenzie Family Healthcare in Sandusky

McKenzie Health System is pleased to announce that Family Nurse Practitioner Trisha Ameel, FNP-C, will now be seeing patients at McKenzie Family Healthcare in Sandusky, beginning November 17. Appointments are being scheduled now by calling 810-648-9677.

Ameel, a familiar and trusted provider in the community, has provided outstanding care to patients at the McKenzie After-Hours Clinic and brings her same compassion and clinical expertise to her new role. This transition allows her to provide ongoing care for individuals and families on a regular basis, helping patients establish and maintain long-term healthcare relationships.

“Trisha has cared for many community members through our After-Hours Clinic, and we are thrilled that patients can now see her for scheduled appointments and continuity of care,” said Heather Baumeister, Director of Healthcare Practices at McKenzie Health System. “She’s a valued part of our team, and this move enhances access to primary care right here in Sandusky.”

A lifelong resident of Sanilac County, Ameel brings a deep understanding of local healthcare needs and a genuine commitment to her patients. She joins Dr. Helda Souresho and Dr. Mark English at McKenzie Family Healthcare, one of McKenzie’s established primary care clinics known for its experienced providers and personalized approach to family medicine.
