McKenzie Health System Auxiliary Looking for Gift Shop Volunteers

The McKenzie Health System Auxiliary is recruiting community volunteers to support the Auxiliary Gift Shop at the McKenzie Hospital Campus.

The Auxiliary Gift Shop offers comfort and convenience for patients, families, and visitors, while raising funds that directly benefit local patient care, hospital equipment, and Auxiliary-led initiatives. Volunteers assist with greeting customers, organizing merchandise, restocking shelves, and helping with light retail tasks in a friendly environment.

This role is a good fit for volunteers who enjoy connecting with people and supporting their community, including those who like the atmosphere of a local shop setting, individuals with customer-service or retail experience, students or adults looking for flexible volunteer hours, and community members who want to give back where support stays close to home. Experience is welcome but not required—orientation, training, and step-by-step guidance are provided by Gift Shop staff and Auxiliary leadership.
