McKenzie Health System (MHS) would like to congratulate Deb Johnston on her recent retirement from the organization after 44 years of employment. Her roles include nearly 20 years in the billing department, a decade of service in Patient Access Services (PAS) Department, and another 16 years as a secretary, during which time she also helped out in the nursery.

“Deb has been a very valuable member of the Central Billing Office (CBO) team. She is a wealth of knowledge and has a calming effect on others. Deb is always the first person to volunteer when help is needed,” said Christina Darling, Director of Patient Financial Services at McKenzie Health System. “We will miss her greatly but are excited that she will be able to enjoy the things she loves during retirement.”

“It has been a privilege to be part of such an incredible organization for 44 years! I am grateful to the wonderful people I have had the opportunity to work with and the chance to take on different roles and responsibilities,” Johnston said. “When I applied for my first position here in the ’70s, I never could have imagined such a long and wonderful career!”
