February 16 Healthy Living Event to focus on Heart Healthy Eating
American Heart Month is the perfect time to focus on eating for a healthy heart, which is the topic of the upcoming “Healthy Living…Together” virtual series from McKenzie Health System. The free February 16 event at noon will share healthy eating tips from McKenzie Health System Registered Dietitian Kristina Myers.
The live webinar will include the chance to watch via Zoom or call in via phone, and it will also be recorded and shared on McKenzie Health System’s YouTube channel and Facebook page. Myers will share information in an easy to understand format allowing participants to interact with questions and comments during the Q&A discussion.
“Healthy eating habits can make such a difference when it comes to healthy living, so we are thrilled that Kristina is joining us this month,” said Louise Blasius, LMSW, LPC, Director of Human Services at McKenzie Health System. “Participants will learn some simple yet effective strategies for mindful eating and living and have the opportunity to ask questions and connect with Kristina through the webinar.”
