June Healthy Lifestyle Workshop shows that “Kids Can Cook Too”

Calling all families with children! Aaron Puzan, Chef at Autumnwood of Deckerville, will be the featured speaker at the Monday, June 24, 2019, “Kids Can Cook Too” Healthy Lifestyle Workshop, scheduled for 5:30 p.m. in the McKenzie Health System Dining Room at 120 N. Delaware, Sandusky. Pre-registration for this free class is required by calling 810-648-6117 or emailing publicrelations@mckenziehealth.org.

“This is the third year that Chef Puzan is presenting this kid-friendly, interactive, fun, and informative session that focuses on helping families cook together,” reports Louise Blasius, LMSW, LPC, Director of Human Services at McKenzie Health System, and Healthy Lifestyle Committee Chairperson. “In this hands-on demonstration, Chef Puzan shows that even small children can help with measuring and adding ingredients, and older children can learn how to cook simple meals for the family. At the end of the session, attendees will have the opportunity to eat the tasty meal that they helped to create. What a confidence booster for them and a great life skill to learn!”

“Please join us for this free workshop that we know will provide valuable information, as well as a lot of fun, for all ages,” invites Blasius. “You can be assured that Chef Puzan will have great tips for both you and the children in your life!”
