FREE Glucose and Cholesterol Screenings for up to 50 women during February, thanks in part to the McKenzie Health System Women's Health and Wellness Fund. Blood tests for these screenings do require fasting.
In recognition of American Heart Month this February, McKenzie Health System is offering a series of opportunities designed to raise awareness, encourage prevention, and empower community members to take charge of their heart health.
Heart disease remains the leading cause of death for both women and men in the United States, making education and early detection more important than ever. As part of its Heart Health Month efforts, McKenzie Health System is offering cholesterol and glucose screenings to help individuals better understand their cardiovascular risk factors.

Registration Instructions:
No appointment needed; however, the blood test does require fasting. These screenings are available during the month of February 2026 to the first 50 women requesting.
Visit the McKenzie Outpatient Services Clinic, located at the Hospital Campus, 120 Delaware Street in Sandusky (on the north side of the building). Available Monday-Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
