It’s another hole in one for the McKenzie Health System Auxiliary: Thanks to the successful 17h Annual McKenzie Auxiliary Golf Scramble in June, the Auxiliary was able to donate $25,000 to assist with the purchase of IV pumps and poles, patient care items used in several departments at McKenzie Health System. All proceeds from the Auxiliary’s Annual Golf Scramble and other fundraising efforts throughout the year support McKenzie Health System.

“This year’s Golf Scramble really was another exceptional year with golfers enjoying a beautiful day out on the course while raising funds to support local healthcare, and we are thrilled to be able to make such a generous donation for the equipment staff identified the need for,” said Emma Navarro, McKenzie Auxiliary Co-President. “We appreciate how the community comes together in so many powerful ways to support health, wellness, and each other.”

Kelsey Loding, McKenzie Auxiliary Co-President added, “Every year we are overwhelmed by the generosity of our volunteers, donors, sponsors, golfers, community members, and all our McKenzie Auxiliary members; we are humbled and grateful. They really are what made this event such a success!”

The proceeds from the golf scramble were presented to Steve Barnett, President and CEO at McKenzie Health System, during the August Auxiliary meeting.

The McKenzie Health System Auxiliary hosts several fundraisers throughout the year; upcoming events include a Bakeless Bake Sale in September, Fall into the Holiday Spirit silent auction and raffle in November, a Christmas and Jewelry Sale in December, and the Gift Shop, which is open year-round.

Founded in 1967, the MHS Auxiliary is comprised of individuals who volunteer thousands of hours to benefit McKenzie Health System and the community. Members donate their time and talents working in the gift shop, providing support at community events, and coordinating fundraising opportunities.
