“Early Detection is Music to Our Ears” Digital Campaign in September to Raise Awareness and Funds for Life-Saving Equipment

Along with the annual Autumn Benefit, the McKenzie Health System Foundation is hosting an “Early Detection is Music to Our Ears” digital fundraising campaign with the goal of raising $50,000 for new life-saving gastroenterology equipment. Tubbs Brothers in Sandusky is the event’s signature sponsor, providing a $10,000 challenge match donation for the first $10,000 raised. The campaign runs from September 1-30 and all funds will go toward the cost of new gastroenterology equipment for McKenzie Health System.

Through the online campaign, the McKenzie Health System Foundation is partnering with community members, businesses, and organizations to raise awareness about the critical importance of early detection. Sponsors, who can get involved for as little as $300, that sign up ahead of September 8 have access to a variety of perks throughout the month, including additional Autumn Benefit tickets, radio promotion, print listing, dedicated social posts, and more. The sponsorship form is available at www.McKenzieHealth.org/Autumn-Benefit.

“Caring for our community is at the very heart of our mission and this campaign is all about raising awareness and raising funds for equipment that can help doctors diagnose colon cancer and reflux, among other issues,” shared Erin Carlson, McKenzie Foundation Circle of Friends Committee Chair. “We encourage the community to come together and support our overall health and wellness as individuals and a larger community. We are grateful to our initial sponsors and look forward to an incredible digital campaign and Autumn Benefit to come.”

New this year is the addition of an online auction, which will take place from September 25-29, with a large variety of items available with many being generously

donated by local businesses and individuals. Information about the online auction is available on the campaign site at https://www.MusicToOurEars.US/.

To learn more or sign up to become a sponsor or donor visit https://www.MusicToOurEars.US/. As a reminder, Autumn Benefit tickets are still available and can be purchased through September 15. The Autumn Benefit will feature more “music to our ears” with the amazing talent of dueling pianos on September 30. The special evening will also include a buffet dinner, 50/50 drawing, and a wine pull. All proceeds from the online campaign, Autumn Benefit, and online auction will go toward the purchase of the gastroenterology equipment.
