As an Occupational Therapist at McKenzie Health System, Alyssa Hohmann brings a lifelong connection to the community and a passion for helping patients regain independence and improve their quality of life.
A 2006 graduate of Marlette High School, Alyssa remained close to home for her education, earning a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from Saginaw Valley State University in December 2011. Shortly after, she began her career at McKenzie Rehabilitation Services in January 2012, where she has since been providing personalized, patient-centered care.
Alyssa specializes in helping individuals of all ages develop, recover, and improve the skills needed for daily living and working. Whether assisting with rehabilitation after injury, illness, or surgery, she focuses on functional goals that matter most to her patients.
Having lived in Marlette her entire life, Alyssa has a strong sense of community and a deep understanding of the unique needs of local patients. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family, camping, riding side-by-sides, and kayaking—activities that reflect her love of the outdoors and active living.
Alyssa is proud to serve the community she calls home and is dedicated to making a positive impact in the lives of her patients every day.
