Swing into Spring and Fitness – March 16 Lunch and Learn

Sandusky, Mich. – McKenzie Health System invites the public to “Swing into Spring and Fitness” at the March Lunch and Learn Workshop on Wednesday, March 16, 2016, from Noon to 1 p.m. in the McKenzie Health System Dining Room.  Cost to attend is $5, which includes lunch.  Pre-registration is required by calling Nina Barnett at 810-648-6127 or emailing nbarnett@mckenziehealth.org.

The workshop will be hosted by Michael Lewis, DNP, FNP-C, McKenzie Health System.  Nurse Practitioner Lewis will be joined by Fitness Trainer Jamie Pritchett from Thumb Elite Athletics, LLC, Sandusky’s newest fitness center.  Jamie is certified by Aerobic Fitness Association of America (A.F.A.A.) to teach PiYo Live, CiZe Live, Pound Pro, Yoga, Spin, and Pilates. “Thumb Elite’s mission is to provide superior, fun and affordable sport, fitness and health training to the community,” reports Louise Blasius, LMSW, LPC, Director of Community and Human Services at McKenzie Health System. “They’re sure to have a lot of useful tips on how to get in shape for spring!”

“As always, the workshop will provide useful information in a relaxed atmosphere and questions will be welcomed,” states Blasius.  “In addition, attendees will be able to enjoy a delicious, healthy meal.
