“As parents, we are focused on getting the right immunizations for our children, but how many of us think of shots and tests for ourselves?,” asks Louise Blasius, Social Worker at McKenzie Health System.  “At this month’s Lunch and Learn workshop Nicole Liccardello, DNP FNP-C, will be giving attendees valuable information on the kinds of immunizations we need as adults, such as flu shots and immunizations for pneumonia and shingles.  There are also tests that adults should have, such as colonoscopies and mammograms.  Come and learn about steps you can take to keep you and your loved ones healthy and active!”

The workshop will be presented in a relaxed, personal atmosphere, and questions will be welcomed.  “In addition,” Blasius reports, “attendees will have a delicious meal.  What a great way to spend a lunch time!”   Because the McKenzie Health System Dining Room has limited seating, pre-registrations are required by calling Nina Barnett at 810-648-6127.
