“Men and women share similar health concerns relative to conditions such as diabetes, obesity, and heart disease, but men also have some specific health issues, including the risk for prostate and testicular cancer,” reports Louise Blasius, LMSW, LPC, Director of Community and Human Services at McKenzie Health System. “At this month’s Lunch and Learn workshop, Dr. Hamed will provide information about health concerns specific to men as well as those that men and women share.”
“As always, the workshop will provide useful information in a relaxed, personal atmosphere, and questions will be welcomed,” shares Blasius. “In addition, attendees will be able to enjoy a delicious, healthy meal. We hope you’ll join us to learn more about men’s health!” For more information about the workshop, contact Louise Blasius at 810-648-6181; to reserve your spot, contact Nina Barnett at 810-648-6127.
