At the February 18 workshop, Dr. Gormley will discuss important health markers that can help you know if your health is where it should be. These markers include Blood Pressure, Heart Rate, and Body Fat Percentage, among others. Keeping your eye on these markers can alert you to some health problems early enough to address them.
It is important for parents for keep an eye on markers such as these for their children too. If a child struggles with health issues such as obesity when he or she is young, it is likely that the struggles will continue as they grow older, unless they make some lifestyle changes. Come and learn what you can do to make a difference for both you and your children!
“This workshop will provide valuable information in a relaxed, personal atmosphere,” reports Louise Blasius, McKenzie Health System Social Worker. “In addition, attendees will have a delicious meal. What a great way to spend a lunchtime!”
