A select group of medical students have begun their third year of study practicing in Sanilac and Lapeer Counties as a result of a partnership with Central Michigan University College of Medicine (CMED). CMED has a strong desire to provide a sustainable supply of highly-trained physicians to underserved regions of Michigan and the Midwest.

On July 5th, McKenzie Health System and Marlette Regional Hospital, as affiliates of United Healthcare Partners, will warmly welcome three CMU medical students to their facilities and communities.
