Clean Eating Takes Center Stage at July Healthy Lifestyle Workshop

McKenzie Health System welcomes Robert Sollman, Bio Tech Instructor at the Sanilac Career Center to present on “Eating Clean-What Does That Mean?” at the July Healthy Lifestyle Workshop, scheduled for Monday, July 23, at 5:30 p.m. in the McKenzie Health System Dining Room at 120 N. Delaware, Sandusky. Pre-registration for this free class is required by calling Nina Barnett, McKenzie Health System, at 810-648-6127, or emailing nbarnett@mckenziehealth.org.

“Experts, as well as advertisers, are always talking about “clean eating”, but what does that really mean?” asks Louise Blasius, LMSW, LPC, Director of Human Services at McKenzie Health System, and Healthy Lifestyle Committee Chairperson. “At the July 23rd Healthy Lifestyle Workshop, Robert Sollman will explain clean eating and give tips on choosing natural foods that are non-processed and additive free. He has experience growing healthy food in his classroom at the Career Center as well as in his own garden. He also led the Blessing Garden project at the Open Door Missionary Church in Sandusky.”

“Please join us for this free workshop that we know will provide valuable information in an easy to understand format,” invites Blasius. “You will receive tips that you can start to use immediately to improve your health and the health of your family!”

For more information about the workshop, contact Louise Blasius at 810-648-6181; to reserve your spot, contact Nina Barnett at 810-648-6127. We hope to see you there!
