Tubbs Family Makes Donation

A donation of $1,000 from Tubbs Brothers, Inc. and another $1,000 from the Tubbs family was recently received by McKenzie Health System. These gifts will be used to purchase new patient care equipment, and to help make other improvements to the hospital. Tubbs Brothers, Inc. and the Tubbs family have been long-term supporters of the hospital through financial support, partnering on activities, and the unselfish contribution of their time as valuable board and committee members.

The donation was received during McKenzie Health System’s Annual Reception on Wednesday, December 7^th. The event recognizes those who have supported the hospital and highlights equipment and improvements made possible though the generosity of supporters, such as the Tubbs family. Guests included McKenzie Health System’s medical staff members, board of director members, donors, supporters, hospital leaders, and employees of the hospital. The reception was also an opportunity for supporters to meet the hospital’s new medical staff members, including Dr. James Sams, Family Practitioner, and Dr. Matthew Gormley, Pediatrician and Internist, both of whom joined the staff in 2011.
