McKenzie Health System is pleased to welcome Dr. Thomas C. Wright, DO, to present “Gynecological Health for Women” at the July Lunch and Learn workshop, scheduled for Wednesday, July 19, 2017, from Noon to 1 p.m., in the McKenzie Health System Dining Room. Lunch and Learn is a community education series held every third Wednesday of the month. The cost for the workshops is $5, and lunch is included in the price. Due to limited space, pre-registration is required by calling Nina Barnett at 810-648-6127 or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
“Women sometimes feel uncomfortable talking about gynecological health,” reports Louise Blasius, LMSW, LPC, Director of Human Services at McKenzie Health System, “but poor female health can be a factor in a variety of issues including unnecessary pain, disruptions in a woman’s personal life, and even certain serious illnesses such as cancer. It’s important that women learn to pay attention to what their body is telling them, and Dr. Wright will help us all do that at the July 19 Lunch and Learn workshop.”
“The workshop will be presented in a relaxed, personal atmosphere, where women will feel free to ask questions of Dr. Wright,” adds Blasius. “And all attendees will have a tasty, healthy meal. We know that attendees will find it to be a great way to spend lunchtime. We hope you join us!”
