Inpatient Care

As a patient, you are the most important person at McKenzie. The entire medical team is here for one purpose - to do everything possible to aid in your successful recovery.

Physician services at the hospital are provided by employed and private practice physicians operating their own enterprises.  The hospital's Board of Directors grant the private practice physicians privileges to attend to patients within the institution, based upon the recommendation of the hospital's medical staff.

Inside the hospital, your personal physician or a hospitalist manages your care. This care may include: medical/surgical care, observation care, pediatric care, monitored bed/telemetry services and transitional/swing bed services.  All tests, X-Rays and treatments are ordered by your doctors and you have a right to discuss these with him or her.
